Located ten minutes drive from the rural centre of Proserpine and thirty minutes drive from the popular mainland beach resort town of Airlie Beach.
Whitsunday Coast Airport is currently serviced by three commercial airlines Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Tiger Air.
Jetstar provides direct daily flights to and from Brisbane and direct flights to and from Melbourne three days a week. Virgin Australia provides two direct daily flights to and from Brisbane on weekdays and one direct flight on weekends. Tiger Air provides direct flights to and from Sydney on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Commencing in March 2017, Tiger Air will be flying four weekly return services between Whitsunday Coast and Brisbane and adding two extra services to their direct Sydney route to fly six weekly return services.
Bookings can be made via the airlines' websites or through any booking office or accredited travel agent.

Disability access facilitation Plan Whitsunday Coast Airport Disability Access Facilitation Plan [PDF 199KB] - the primary purpose of the Disability Access Facilitation Plans is to advise passengers with disabilities of the service measures an airport will take to ensure access for passengers with disabilities.
The Bowen aerodrome is located on the outskirts of the town of Bowen. The airstrip is mostly used as the base for Agricultural operations. The main runway is sealed and the cross strip is gravel. All aircraft are most welcome.
Collinsville Aerodrome is located approximately 6km to the south of the town of Collinsville and is mainly used to fly people in and out to the mines. There is a single gravel runway approximately 1400m long.
