Proserpine Area Master Plan - help us unlock Proserpine's potential!

The Proserpine Sustainability and Future Growth Master Plan was adopted by Council on 8 November 2017. You can view the Plan here. Council has resolved to refer the capital projects listed in the Master Plan for budget consideration in the future.

Proserpine residents have the opportunity to share their ideas for the future of Proserpine and Lake Proserpine, with public consultation taking place between 1 December 2016 and 28 February 2017.

Whitsunday Regional Council is developing a Master Plan to drive urban growth and economic development, including tourism attraction, for Proserpine.

Extensive public consultation will be undertaken with residents and community groups over the next three months to capture all ideas and suggestions. Council will consider all ideas when putting together the draft Master Plan document over the next 6 months.

- Public forums at the Proserpine Community Centre (Dates TBA)
- Public display stalls
- Face-to-face meetings at the 55 Main Street shopfront, Proserpine (opening soon)
