Connecting the Dots: The Entrepreneurs' Programme assisting regional businesses

Whitsunday Mooring and Marine Construction (WMMC) is a wonderful example of a regional business that accessed a range of government assistance, including working with experts in the development of their product and receiving expert advice through the Business.gov.au adviser network.

WMMC has designed and developed the 'Artemis', a world-first testing and evaluation system to inspect steel, concrete, timber and fibreglass/composite structures in the marine industry.

EFIC (Export Finance and Insurance Corporation) 

EFIC is Australia's export credit agency and provides Australian exporters with a range of specialist finance solutions and resources to help them take on the world.

ASBAS Digital Solutions Program

Business Station Inc have been awarded funding to support small businesses to improve their digital capability across all of Queensland, WA and NT. Services will include an assessment of small businesses' needs, tailored digital engagement plans where required, and advisory support in relation to one or more of the priority digital capabilities:

  • websites and selling online
  • social media and digital marketing
  • using small business software, and
  • online security and data privacy 
If you are a small business needing support, register your interest in being a participant in the ASBAS Digital Solutions program.

If you are a small business advisor/service provider, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to help deliver the ASBAS Digital Solutions program to small businesses in locations across Queensland. 

Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a partnership between Federal, State and Local Governments to develop and strengthen the regional communities of Australia. The key roles for RDA include leadership in exploring and communicating regional challenges and opportunities and bringing regional organisations together to take advantage of Government programs, policies and initiatives. Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) is a key financial assistance program provided by the Federal Government for aspiring and current exporters, supporting a wide range of industry sectors and products.
