A born and bred Bowen and Collinsville local, Ben Burgess is your typical knockabout bloke who works in the mines and is living the dream at ‘the top of the Whitsundays”.
When he is not pulling the boots on for the Bowen Mudcrabs rugby team he loves taking his boat out with mates, dropping a few crab pots up the creek and wetting a fishing line.
Benny has done a bit of travelling but always comes back home to Bowen because that's his Whitsunday Way!
