Dr Derek has always wanted to live in Proserpine ever since growing up a kid in NQ, and after spending time in the town as a medical student he was sold to come back.
He works at Proserpine Hospital on a 24 hour, 7 days a week shift roster and is married to local pharmacist Andrea.
With a young family, the couple are very active in the Proserpine and Cannonvale communities in multiple sports and junior swimming. The family recently bought a small farm near the O’Connell River and love to relax by going fishing and camping.
