The NQ Cross Country Championship will be run for the 3rd year in Galbraith Park. This is the official Athletics North Queensland (an affiliate of Queensland Athletics and Athletics Australia) cross country championships. It attracts athletes of all ages from Cairns to Brisbane and out to the west - we are expecting approximately 300 runners this year each with at least 2 accompanying persons. Their are eight races run over the 1 and 2km loops around Galbraith Park. These races are over 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 and 1kms.
