WRC Division 2 Councillor By-Election
A by-election to fill a vacancy in the office of Division 2 Councillor will be held on Saturday 3 December 2022.
Candidate nominations are open from Friday 4 November 2022 and close at 12pm (noon) on Monday 14 November 2022.
An information session will be held at the Airlie Beach PCYC from 6pm on Thursday 17 November 2022 for candidates and anyone who is interested in what is involved in becoming a local Councillor.
Please note that there is mandatory training session you need to complete before you can become a candidate. The link to complete the training and other information for candidates is available on the Queensland Government's website.

Do I need to vote?
Only residents located in Division 2 are required to vote in the upcoming by-election. To find out what division you are located in please visit the Electoral Commission of Queensland's website and enter your home address.
