Notice of Swearing In Ceremony & Post Election Council Meeting

The Electoral Commission of Queensland has officially declared the newly elected Whitsunday Regional Council Mayor and Councillors after the recent 2024 Local Government Election.

A Swearing In Ceremony will take place at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre, 14 Main Street Proserpine, on Thursday 11 April at 9am and is open to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to watch the Livestream from 9am, which will be available below:

Notice is hereby given that the Post-Election Meeting of Whitsunday Regional Council will be held at the Proserpine Council Chambers, 83-85 Main Street Proserpine, on Thursday 11 April commencing at 11am. Members of the public are encouraged to watch the Livestream from 11am.
