Notice of Intention to Sell Land (Substituted Service)

Local Government Regulation 2012 (Qld) (“the Regulation”)

TAKE NOTICE that on 30 October 2024, the Whitsunday Regional Council (A.B.N. 63 291 580 128) (the ‘Council’) resolved to sell the land described as Lot 39 on SP 184783 situated at 17 Beth Court CANNONVALE QLD 4802 (the ‘Land’), because overdue rates and charges remained unpaid for a period in excess of the period prescribed pursuant to section 140(1)(c) of the Regulation.

As at 28 November 2024, the amount of overdue rates, charges and interest was $18,557.19. Interest and costs continue to accrue. The Council intends to start procedures for selling the land in accordance with section 141 of the Regulation unless the amount of overdue rates and charges and all expenses incurred by the Council in attempting to sell the Land are paid in full.

TAKE NOTICE that on 30 October 2024, the Whitsunday Regional Council (A.B.N. 63 291 580 128) (the ‘Council’) resolved to sell the land described as Lot 4 CP MPH 13515 situated at 3 Railway Road COLLINSVILLE QLD 4804 (the ‘Land’), because overdue rates and charges remained unpaid for a period in excess of the period prescribed pursuant to section 140(1)(c) of the Regulation.

As at 28 November 2024, the amount of overdue rates, charges and interest was $24,478.32. Interest and costs continue to accrue. The Council intends to start procedures for selling the land in accordance with section 141 of the Regulation unless the amount of overdue rates and charges and all expenses incurred by the Council in attempting to sell the Land are paid in full.

 

TO:  RODNEE PEACE

TAKE NOTICE that on 30 October 2024, the Whitsunday Regional Council (A.B.N. 63 291 580 128) (the ‘Council’) resolved to sell the land described as Lot 38 on CP MPH 13508 situated at 41 Third Avenue SCOTTVILLE QLD 4804 (the ‘Land’), because overdue rates and charges remained unpaid for a period in excess of the period prescribed pursuant to section 140(1)(c) of the Regulation.

As at 28 November 2024, the amount of overdue rates, charges and interest was $16,161.64. Interest and costs continue to accrue. The Council intends to start procedures for selling the land in accordance with section 141 of the Regulation unless the amount of overdue rates and charges and all expenses incurred by the Council in attempting to sell the Land are paid in full.
